H. ‘Leading Lady’
Size : Medium
Leaf : large, slightly ruffled, mid-green with narrow gold variegation
Parentage : sport of a seedling of H. ‘William Lachman’
Originator : Wilkins
Comments : A fantastic hosta. Its majestic, upright stature, large, slightly ruffled leaves held horizontally and arranged symmetrically and its gold variegation make it look like a slightly smaller version of H. ‘Sagae’. Its one of the most commented-upon plants by visitors to my garden and I would agree with Mark Zilis who says in his Hostapedia, that it ‘should be one of the most popular hosta cultivars’. For me, it’s another ‘must-have’ hosta
