Leaf : Lanceolate, grey-green with a white back (pruniose) and purple speckles at base of its petioles.

Parentage : H. kikutii x H. longipes

Originator : Sugita

Registered : N/R, introduced in the mid ’80s

Comments : Was formerly named H.’Okazaki Special’, after the city where its originator lived. Its new name means ‘snows of Mikawa’ (the name of the province where Okazaki located).
